Something Wicked

A high school seance before the night of the big game has deadly consequences when the new quarterback, Jason Macbeth, takes his life (and others) into his own hands. The bodies pile up as Macbeth and his student council girlfriend, Em, refuse to let anyone stand in the way of their perfect future. Inspired by the cult classics of the 1980’s, this slasher retelling of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” will make your present fears more than horrible imaginings. So grab your popcorn, put on your best costume, and get ready for “Something Wicked: A Slasher Macbeth”.

A 2019 graduate from Washington High School, Rohrer is attending Nebraska Wesleyan University in pursuit of a B.F.A. in Theatre Studies. Some of Rohrer's previous roles include Penelope in "In Sorrow's Guise: An Immersive 'Medea'" and Jo in "Little Women". This is Rohrer's first show with Shoestring Theatre.

A 2018 graduate from Olathe North High School, Crane is attending Nebraska Wesleyan University in pursuit of a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Some of Crane's previous roles include Irene Molloy in "Hello, Dolly!" and Sara in "Bondagers". This is Crane's first show with Shoestring Theatre.

A 2020 graduate from Lincoln East High School, Bell is attending Nebraska Wesleyan University in pursuit of a Language Arts Education B.A. and Theatre Arts B.F.A. Some of Bell's previous roles include Hero in "Much Ado About Nothing" and Irina in "Three Sisters". This is Bell's first show with Shoestring Theatre.

A 2018 graduate from Lincoln Southeast High School, Wiese has also recently graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a B.F.A. in Acting. Some of Wiese's previous roles include Tuzenbach in "Three Sisters" and Crutchie in "Newsies". This is Wiese's first show with Shoestring Theatre.

This is Diamond's first show with Shoestring Theatre.

A 2018 graduate from Millard West High School, Evans has also recently graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan with a B.F.A. in Theatre Studies. Some of Evans' previous roles include Kasper in "Dancing With Georgia" and Horatio in Shoestring Theatre's "Come From The Grave". This is Evans' second show with Shoestring Theatre.

Some of Jorgenson's previous roles include Nurse in "In Sorrow's Guise: An Immersive 'Medea'" and Gretchen in "Boeing Boeing". This is Jorgenson's second show with Shoestring Theatre, previously designing hair and makeup for "Come From The Grave".

Some of Goodwater's previous roles include Liz Astrata in "In Sorrow's Guise: An Immersive 'Medea'" and "Laugh or the Baby Gets It: A Sketch Show" . This is Goodwater's first show with Shoestring Theatre.
